A collegiate honorary society that you have to be total pussy-eater to get into. It is a top tier honorary society, only sharing its ranks with maybe Phi Beta Kappa, if they're lucky. Only the elite get in, by definition. One is elected by Phi Kappa Phi alumni selection board, who are made up mostly deans at the college/university; you cannot apply for admission. "Founded in 1897 at the University of Maine, Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest, largest, and most selective honor society for all academic disciplines. Its chapters are on more than 300 campuses in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines."
