Acronym for Pommes DuChesse. Used to proclaim profound feelings that something is marvelous, delicious or extraordinary. Can be used by itself without any explanation to express contentment, boredom or excitement. Pommes DuChesse in its original form was first used by the stepfather in the Swedish film Ondskan (2003) to express that the pommes duchesse he was eating was delicious. "Pommes duchesse, vad härligt!" was the exact phrase in Swedish and is translated to "Pommes duchesse, how wonderful!".
