Panlette

A cross between a pancake and an omelette.It's a recipe that Chef Tash (Asithandile Mautla) came up with. It's made by whisking egg whites till they form soft picks and egg yolks are whisked on their own. A runny pancake batter is made on the side and yolks are added into the pancake batter. The egg whites are then folded into the pancake mixture.The mixture is then cooked in a pan exactly the same way as an omelette until it's done in the middle and golden brown on the outside.It can be served as is, with syrup, fresh berries and fruits or stuffed exactly like an omelette. It's a fluffy yet bready omelette.
