Nothing
Nothing cannot be defined. It has no qualities. Some who write about Nothing will use the word "nothingness", but this is a fallacy as it projects a quality as if Nothing could describe something. Nothing is not the absence of something, it is merely Nothing. Awakening to the temporal and illusory nature of something, allows you to discover the light show of reality is projected onto Nothing. From Nothing, we collapse the illusion. There is no spoon. There is no light(or dark). There is no fill in the blank. The reason you are unaware of Nothing is due to the hypnotic nature of the illusion. Any value your mind/ego assigns to any perception is false. There is Nothing.

this mug reminds me of my cat, it does nothing and cant pour me a nice cup of joe. It is horrible, it doesn't tell nor does it allow me sip on it. It stops me from drinking from it, its like the mug is trying to torture me.

This cute mug reminded me of a quote from an obscure biography I found quite by accident in a tiny hole-in-the-wall 2nd hand shop in Portland, ME in 1987: 'The Life and Times of Lazarus of Bethany'. Quote: " We are all walking wounded held together by the scars of our forbearance and the charity of our sisters and brothers." Truer words have never been said.
