Nirvana is actually a word used in Buddhsm that means a state of bliss and tranquility. The band Nirvana, started off in Washington in 1987, but ended on April 5th, 1994, when the lead singer, Kurt Cobain, was killed. Rumor has it that it was a planned murder by his wife Courtney Love, considering that his suicide note was not in his handwritting and he had way too much heroin in his system to use a gun correctly. Plus the gun was wiped clean of all fingerprints. How would a dead guy do that? God Bless Kurt Cobain.
