Stands for "Not Even Doom Music". Apparently, A YTMND was created which featured a rather brutal act of animal cruelty - a .gif of a kitten being placed in a cage, doused with gasoline, and then lit on fire. A YTMND regular, 'Spotz', approved of the site enough to give it 5 stars due to its usage of music from "Doom". Another user, 'titanium-gecko', appalled that anyone would upvote such brutality, proceeded to give 1-star votes to all the sites of those who did. When confronted by Spotz, who stated his reasoning was simply for the featured music, his reply, posted on one of Spotz's sites, was as follows: "Okay Spotz. Since you do not "condone" burning kitten your sites have been 3'D until further notice. Still... nothing justifies 5'ing burning kittens. Not even Doom music." The acronym that this comment produced has since spiraled into an uncontrollable fad which is an amalgam of those who understand the origin and an ever increasing group who have no idea what it means, or do but do not find the fad justified. They have made sites featuring the acronym, elements from past sites (i.e. chapstick, a cat; live, dead, burned or otherwise), completely unrelated elements (scenes from the show 'Lost') or even other fads, mostly to either express their displeasure or to jump on the bandwagon. Some simply like the loop of the Coburn song (from the original site, "http://nedm.ytmnd.com/") which has become the unofficial soundtrack, and desire the full track.
The Urban Dictionary Mug
As always, these are well made mugs that stand up to most anything. And they make perfect gifts (in this case for dirty-minded members of a wedding party). I’m extremely pleased.
Is a great mug that I purchased as a gag gift for a coworker. You know the one who also as interesting words/phrases that only urban dictionary can explain. Great as a coffee mug and better as conversation piece!

It's a great mug, will reccomend to family members my grandma gave me this mug for christmas and it was by far the best gift i got.

I ordered 3 of your mugs, with different names on them. There was a typo in the information about the name on the back of each of the mugs. This wasn’t a dealbreaker because the people who received them liked them. However, it would be nice if somebody who has basic proficiency in spelling English words could proofread the script for all of your names before they’re prepared.

I love the fact that I was able to customize my name since I've never been able to find anything with my name. The only downside is it's smaller than I thought it would be (I guess I didn't pay much attention to that), wish it was bigger, only about 10 oz total.
