Nation’s Pick

Korea Tourism Organization is a government organization under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, made to promote the country’s tourism industry. For 2018, the organization selected the hottest K-Pop idol group EXO to serve as its public ambassadors awarding them with the title "Nation's Pick". EXO has taken to the stage at many large-scale international events such as being the first kpop group to have their song played at The Burj Khalifa, the world's largest choreographed fountain show. Baekhyun even sang the national anthem at the opening ceremony of the 132nd International Olympic Committee session. Recently the group headlined and performed at the 2018 Winter Olympics closing ceremony in PyeongChang which has earned EXO the nickname “Nation’s Pick.” "EXO is the Nations Boy Group" — South Korea's President, Moon Jae-in
