A Muslim (Arabic: مسلم‎; /ˈmʊslɨm/ MOOS-lim or English pronunciation: /ˈmʌzlɨm/ MUZ-lim) or Moslem1 is an adherent of the religion of Islam. Literally, the word means "one who submits (to God)".
