Pretty straight forward really. The poor bloody woman who gave birth to you....as for this rather heated debate about the spelling, whether it is mum or mom. Well I would say it does really matter but I feel like yank bashing today so I will point out an error in american english which is blaring example of either arrogance or stupidity. The word Lieutenant is pronounced incorrectly by americans, it is a french word and to spell in phonetically in english one would write it as Leftenant. So the yanks fail...sorry Oh also mum has something to do with keeping your mouth shut about something...read examples
