melodic hardcore
It's a one version of hardcore punk but not so aggressive like old hardcore.It's something like new wave of hardcore in which is a more melody than in old school hardcore. It's often replaced with emo but the lyrics can prove that they are not. Generally: hardcore vocals,punk guitar,bass and rhythm and much more melody. Bands: Rise Against, Strike Anywhere , Rex Banner, Waterweed etc.
