3,4-MethyleneDioxyEthylAmphetamine (MDEA; also called Eve) is an empathogenic psychoactive drug. MDEA is a substituted amphetamine and a substituted methylenedioxyphenethylamine. MDEA acts as a serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine releasing agent and reuptake inhibitor. MDEA also releases oxytocin.
