He was tired of it, and decided to rebel against the Christian religion. Kids listen to him and kill themselves because they want to be like him, or whatever. Untrue. Someone actually quoted him saying, "I never said to be like me, I said to be like you and make a difference." And no, he's not an Anarchist, or anything like that. To tell you the truth, I don't think he has a religion.
