Lurlene Mcdaniel is a famous author.She has written over 60 young adult books.She was born in Manitoba, Canada in 1944 though she has lived in the USA most of her life. She is well-known for writing about characters struggling with mortality and chronic illness. Her characters have suffered from with cancer, diabetes, organ failure, and the deaths of loved ones through disease or suicide.She first started writing books about stuff like this when Her son Sean was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at age 3.Many people across north america are in love with her books.I would only reccomend reading them if you aren't afraid to have a good cry while reading
