The predominant sound is an ongoing R sound while singing. Hence, the LURE sound cuz it sounds like they are always saying "LURE LURE LURE YERRR (B!)EERR UH HUR YAY YER LUUUURE LEWER LURE". Band examples would be Creed, Godsmack, UPO, Tantric, Days of The New, Pete Barnsley, and Kilgore. Alice In Chains are the only ones who get a pass on this one cuz they revolutionized it. and Layne Stayleys vocal melodies are cool despite his deep LURE

I was very pleased with the mug and I was thrilled that I could purchase a customized item that perfectly suited the person I was gifting. The only issue I had was that it didn't have the quote from the tv show the word came from as that was pictured on the mug prior to purchase.
