Lazytype
A method of typing commonly seen on platforms such as Discord, often used when users want to get a message across quickly. Users performing lazytype usually do not capitalize the first letter in a sentence and any names, honorifics, et cetera. They also usually do not care about typos. Furthermore, they will also not add any punctuation at the end of single sentences, though it is more common to add punctuation if there are multiple sentences in the same message. Additionally, most lazytypers will not apply apostrophes ' to words such as "you're", "I'm", "that's", converting them into "youre/your", "im", "thats", et cetera. As a result of these practices, sentences constructed by lazytypers may be grammatically incorrect the majority of the time. This can potentially make their messages difficult for others to understand. Despite its informal nature, lazytyping continues to be a prevalent practice in the realm of digital communication. A more ideal method of lazytyping is to lazytype without the capitalization and attempting to fix typos, but keeping apostrophes present at all times when needed. Punctuation should be used only when needed - not on simple statements, but perhaps more necessary when posing a question, for instance.
