Kates are amazing people. They are intensely complicated, but can appear to be very simple. A Kate is the definition of layered or two faced. You will meet her and think “wow, she’s such a simple, put together, person just living her life” but if she lets you in you will start to see so many layers to her personality. You should also be careful of triggers. Not all Kates have them, but most do. A kate can seem perfectly alright and very suddenly brake down. It might seem to give you whiplash. You will find nothing out of the ordinary in the conversation you were having with her. Don’t worry, you hit one of her triggers and it’s not likely your fault she is now upset. Be careful not to push to know what triggered her too quickly. Back off, give her some time, then ask. She is much more likely to answer you truthfully then.
