calves and ankles with greater circumference than normal, bearing similarity to baby elephant legs and young trees, hence jumbo + stems. Often covered by brown woollen socks to inadvertently accentuate mass of lower leg. See also cankles, but note jumbo stems have different ratio to knees and thighs.
