Say what you like about the IRA but they defended us FROM THE ILLEGAL OCCUPATION OF IRELAND WHICH WOULD HAVE SPILLED OVER INTO SOUTHERN IRELAND IN A LESS COVERT AND MORE BOLDY OVERT WAY!
