New hardcore bands include: throwdown (tough guy hardcore.) terror (tough guy hardcore.) casey jones (straightedge hardcore.) bane (old school hardcore.) as i lay dying (christian hardcore.) the chariot (christian hardcore.) norma jean (christian hardcore.) written down the barrel (tough guy hardcore.) Hardcore is type of music were there are low screams with breakdowns for dancing, and the guitars and bass use distortion to give it the messy effect to make it sound hard.
