A birthday wish when given in an electronic form, such as on a social networking website. In recent years happ-E birthdays have skyrocketed in popularity relative to face-to-face and telephonic birthday wishes because they require much less effort and can be given without having to awkwardly converse with the wish’s recipient or even remember their birthday.
