Goth origonally was a term used to describe that of architecture, clothing, music, and culture from the Gothic Era, a sub-devision of the Mideval Era. Goth is now percieved as a labeled group of kids who dress in black, write depressive poetry, and hate the world. However, this is untrue. Goths are generally not depressive. They dress however they like, and believe that nobody is here for a reason. They believe in just living, and they see no point in popularity. Being goth is all about individuality, and you do not have to dress a certain way to be a goth. They generally listen to classical, industrial, metal, or soft rock. But that is not to say they have to listen to these forms of music.
