During and after Genghis Khan's life, he and his well-trained army were feared by millions across the continents. Genghis Khan was a prolific lover, and was obsessed with women. Like many other powerful rulers, Genghis Khan had many wives and concubines. He would take the most beautiful women that he could find from the lands that he had conquered and would make them a part of his harem. This resulted in him having one of the largest harems in history. In fact, Genghis Khan had sex with so many women that about 16 million men in the world today are related to him. He had over a dozen wives. His first and most famous wife was Borte.
