A person who attempts to appear, act, and advertise themselves as a hipster in a failed manner, normally through the reaching of connective ties by purchasing a closely but not quite similiar styling of clothing through mainstream reatailers like "The Gap." Gapster are normally looked down upon by all walks, mainly their hipster counterparts due to their attempts at "trying too hard."
