Fords is the third largest district and one of ten districts in Woodbridge Township, NJ. The towns surrounding Fords are: Edison, Metuchen, Menlo Park Terrace, Woodbridge proper, Hopelawn, and Keasbey. Fords is accesible and surrounded by almost every major Highway in Central NJ. Mainly NJ Turnpike (aka I-95), Garden State Parkway, Route 1, Route 9., and I-287. For this reason Fords is considered the "CrossRoads" of Central NJ. These highways all cut through Fords. Along Route 1., Fords is in between Woodbridge Center Mall and Menlo Park Mall which are about 8 miles apart or less.
