Fibromyalgia A disease that can be proved by brain scan, for lesions in brain caused by inflammation. Including a survey of a group of people with a Fibromyalgia, there are specific points of pain common in everyone with Fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia causes a myriad of problems ( which causes many people to accuse them of being a hypochondriac) widespread pain, inflammation, irritable bowel, debilitating fatigue, also joint, tendon and muscle problems and tightness, nerve issues, hypersensitivity, anxiety, hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism ....etc Many patients also say they have good and bad days. Good days they can accomplish more, bad days can be a range of severe joint and body pain, to needing to be on bed rest. Many will need to go on disability for being unable to keep up with their lives due to severe fatigue and pain. Life altering changes are needed to get some relief for most. For some certain clothes hurt, others can't even be slightly touched. It will change every aspect of someones life. From a ballerina that can't dance anymore, to a banker that can't balance their own checkbook from fibro-fog. ( fibro fog can vary from no recall of what you were about to say to not being able to remember what you studied. The Urban Dictionary Mug
I'm in a Spanish-speaking practice group, and the phrase "Ajo y Agua" came up, meaning, (more or less) "If you f***ed up, deal with it." (It's a long story, how "Garlic and Water" means this, but that's the fun of it.)
