Eye Problems
An explanation for not going to, or staying at, some place where you were expected to be. Mainly used in reference to work, but still effective for weddings, long family get togethers, baby showers, and the like. "eye problems" began its life as a simple reply to a buddy when hungover and didn't go to work. Since its birth is morphed more into a reason for not going somewhere because you didn't want to, or simply because you wanted to go shopping, play video games, or do anything other than what you were supposed to be doing.
