Emo means 'emotional.' It does NOT mean that the person cuts themself; they might, but lets not jump to conclusions. Emo is also a genre of music. Also, Punk. For example: -Hawthorn Heights -Amber Pacific -Cute Is What We Aim For -My Chemical Romance -Mayday Parade -Taking Back Sunday -Panic! At The Disco -Paramore etc. Personallly, I like them all (: ** You are not emo if you call yourself emo. ** -People who take pictures of themselves and put 'emo' as the caption are called 'posers.' -Posers are people who act emo to be cool or to be in the social scene as emo, they only want attention. -Emo people do not complain about EVERYTHING and they are not LONERS. -When people cut their wrists it normally happens as a teenager and it will not happen as an adult, the person usually grows up and realizes they shouldn't be hurting themselves because of someone else.
