an over-thought style with more haters then barrack obama. "emo" today contains people who cut themselves (cutters), people who are sad, people with choppy hair, and people who dress a certain way. SHUT UP!!! emo is basically a group of people who show their EMOtions in public. Despite popular beleif, they usually have a reason: abuse rape heartbreak and feeling trapped are common in my own friends. ANOTHER type of emo is the music, although it doesn't sound good to most people, they are lyrics emos can relate to. because if you are very sad at the time, "i HATE everything about you! WHY do i LOVE you?" (3 days grace) sounds a hell of a lot better than "there's a she-wolf in the closet" (shakira) or even "baby are you down, down, down, down down?" (jay sean) its basically a point of view where most try to cheer themselves up, emos will try to forget when they were happy so when they're sad it doesn't seem so bad.

Your description is right on, except in 1989 I named my daughter Kallen Mikel (www.kallenmikel.com/original-art). I thought I made up the name, but apparently, it originated as a boy's name in Greek and Hebrew. I first found this out in 2001 when I was traveling to Finland. In the 'tube food' section in a big Finnish supermarket there it was, a royal blue tube of salmon paste with a blonde-haired boy named Kallen! So now I have discovered that there are many Kallen's of both sexes. I want to buy her a cup, but it has 'him' on it. Is there any way you can make that a unisex description for both sexes? Just askin'. Being a Barbara (Barbs) myself ... a 'cake eater' from Edina, MN I had to ask ... haha ;-)
