emo
Emo is term used today to describe mostly anyone. Its used to desribe people from jocks to nerds. It is often confused with hardcore or scene. If someone takes a picture of themselves on myspace that involves a mirron, real close up, or from an odd angle, its considered emo. Most people that desribe others as emo usually dont understand what emo truly is. Some common misconceptions are with the trends emo kids follow. They usually wear tight pants (not girl pants) only black t-shirts, studded belts but white sometimes if they know much about the scene lol, and often have hair covering one side of their face. What is sad about these characteristics is that they desribe many other stereotypes as well, such as scene, goth, nerds, wanna be goths, ex-nerds, and well mostly anyone. The people that make fun of emo are even worse. Emo kids follow trends just like everyone else. Is a preppy person not following a trend by shoping for clothes at aeropostal or a store of that sort? They just are insecure about themselves and feel a need to pick on someone that may be more open with their feelings or someone who fits the stereotype. If people are to continue making fun of the emo fad, they need to actually take a look at people who call themselves emo, and see them for who they really are and not just some stereotype.

this mug reminds me of my cat, it does nothing and cant pour me a nice cup of joe. It is horrible, it doesn't tell nor does it allow me sip on it. It stops me from drinking from it, its like the mug is trying to torture me.

This cute mug reminded me of a quote from an obscure biography I found quite by accident in a tiny hole-in-the-wall 2nd hand shop in Portland, ME in 1987: 'The Life and Times of Lazarus of Bethany'. Quote: " We are all walking wounded held together by the scars of our forbearance and the charity of our sisters and brothers." Truer words have never been said.

What's funny is the saying that everyone searched for is the one that popped up on the cup. So all the weird gross sayings that people are commenting on are completely out of context to everyone seeing their comment.
