seeing as there is much bullshit around about emo being angst ridden teens and melodramitc singers whining about relationships. Yet i have many emo Cds that have only 1 relationship song. Emo means emotive hardcore, not emotional. Its a genre of music, not a style. When kids call themselves emo. yes it is fake, and they are following a trend. But the music itself can also by called Post-hardcore. Emo music is ebout emotion but every song in the world has an emotion. Emo does it in a harder kind of way opposing the crappy sound of rap and bubblegum pop
