Emo is a music genera that was popularized in the late 90's and early 2000's the music usually is very emotional hints the name, the music might also deal with topics that people may connect or relate too. some classic emo bands are : - Taking back Sunday - The get up kids - sunny day real estate - dashboard confessional - american football - Fall out boy (earlier ) - the used emo is also represented through fashion, some common pieces that emos might wear is studded belts , black skinny jeans, band tees , converse or vans and lots of band/fandom bracelets and choker necklaces ,etc . and people that are 'emo' can tend to be emotional or sensitive but not all the time.

This cute mug reminded me of a quote from an obscure biography I found quite by accident in a tiny hole-in-the-wall 2nd hand shop in Portland, ME in 1987: 'The Life and Times of Lazarus of Bethany'.
