an anarchist school of thought often called "Anarcho Individualism", "Anarcho Egoism" but usually just shortened to "Egoism" The idea was originally proposed by the German philosopher Max Stirner in his book "The Ego and Its own" or also known as "The Unique and its Property" it says ideas like The State, Religion, God(s), Laws, Capitalism, Morality, The Market and Societal Obligation are "spooks" or ideas that suppress the individual sense of self (aka the "ego") while not actually being real just illusions created by our masters to suppress us (aka "ghost of the mind" as Stirner would put it) One of its main idea is that the ego (your sense of self) should strive to do things that make you happy and give you fulfillment rather than being restricted by society It is just "Do whatever you want I don't care"

this mug reminds me of my cat, it does nothing and cant pour me a nice cup of joe. It is horrible, it doesn't tell nor does it allow me sip on it. It stops me from drinking from it, its like the mug is trying to torture me.

This cute mug reminded me of a quote from an obscure biography I found quite by accident in a tiny hole-in-the-wall 2nd hand shop in Portland, ME in 1987: 'The Life and Times of Lazarus of Bethany'. Quote: " We are all walking wounded held together by the scars of our forbearance and the charity of our sisters and brothers." Truer words have never been said.
