Dose is a term for LSD. In the 1990s McGruff the Crime Dog was responsible for many upstanding citizens being treated as common ciminals. The advertisements stated that food was often 'dosed' or 'laced' with LSD but McGruff did not take into consideration the rights of the misfortunate ULD Americans.
