A very strange group of women who claim to be all about Black Female Empowerment yet instead waste all their time arguing and posting about Black Men and Non Black People on Social Media, acting chummy with White Supremacists, and pedestalizing and obsessing over Non-Black Males whilst calling Black Women who don’t agree with them “Overweight Unpicked Mammies” they are just as male- identified as the BW they are dragging yet they don’t even realize it. If you’re a Black Woman/Girl it is imperative DO NOT FALL IN LINE WITH THEM. If you actually want to be About Black Female Empowerment or want to increase your quality of life as Black Woman here is a few tips 1. PROTECT. YOUR. PEACE. it is a waste of time, effort, and energy to constantly be arguing with people regardless if they’re black, white, male, female none of that Learn to Report and Block and move on. 2. Don’t pedestalize anyone but yourself. 3. Keep good grooming habits (skincare, haircare, workout routine, etc) “If you look good you’ll feel good”

This cute mug reminded me of a quote from an obscure biography I found quite by accident in a tiny hole-in-the-wall 2nd hand shop in Portland, ME in 1987: 'The Life and Times of Lazarus of Bethany'. Quote: " We are all walking wounded held together by the scars of our forbearance and the charity of our sisters and brothers." Truer words have never been said.
