A combination of Desi and ARMY (as in Adorable Representative MCs for Youth, the BTS fandom) Desi is literally the word for indegenous, but also refers to things(people, items, culture, and all in between) from Indian subcontinent(mainly). Don't worry. When it comes to Purple-ing each other, we don't worry about borders! (To purple someone means to love and trust someone for long - love, loyalty and trust. Thank you V!) Couldn't put a link, but you could refer the Wiki page on "Desi" in case you're unfamiliar. The word is a noun (a proper noun and beginning with upper case.) Within the fandom ARMY, They call their Korean sub-fandom the K Diamonds and the international counterparts the I Lovelies. DesiMYs will be a sub-fan collection under the latter. The GiF is the first time they ever mentioned this group personally (after the references during Namjoon's stage(Trivia: Love) at their 2019 concerts - First at Brazil)
