dee til eh deh
Dee - A fan of the Dundee Football Club Til - Until Eh - I Deh - Die The Dundee dialect was formed in the loud jute mills of the Victorian-era 19th century. The I's are turned into an 'eh' sound, so I'm becomes Ehm. This is unique and peculiar to Dundee. The phrase and song "dee til eh deh" uses local Dundonian dialect words (spelt phonetically) and is used by Dundee FC fans to express their support. It is also found on the back of the current Dundee FC 23-24 season SPFL home shirt.
