On our farewell, I offered him my heart, a kiss or a promise, but he took nothing, I could never tell his wishes. When he was gone, my heart had stayed beating with me in my body, but my soul was his. My life with or without Danilo will never be the same. I go on living, business-as-usual, lying to myself, a deceiver, knowing too well that at any moment, a call, a sound, a letter, a word, from him, would bring me back to heaven's door, where I would stand to meet my better half.
