Daddylad
On board Royal Navy T class submarines Daddylads are the lads responsible for the learning of a lad, with the eventual potential outcome of making a clean lad out of him. Daddylads choose a lad wisely, based on certain specific qualities that can be nurtured. For example, fiestyness, a soft handshake and excellent genital cleanliness are all attributes that are favoured by a prospective daddylad. After several months learning at sea a lad may be proclaimed as clean, and even reach the status of being gooched.
