a spin-off of beer-goggles, cube-goggles are when you work in an office space/cubicle and thus find yourself attracted to people who you would not notice under normal circumstances. this occurs for two main reasons: 1. many people in the office setting are not very attractive (slim pickins). 2. spending 8 hours a day in a cubicle makes you stir-crazy and bored, your attention wanders at the slightest provocation.
