Acknowledge wrongdoing: The Bible urges us to admit our mistakes and ask for forgiveness from our loving and merciful God. Ask for forgiveness: Asking God for forgiveness is a crucial step in the repentance process. Make a commitment to change: The Bible encourages a change of heart and behavior in order to prevent further covenant-breaking. Covenant part 2.
