Cantr Mug
Cantr is a non-profit, free to play, text based persistent world browser rpg that has been online since around 2003. The community has been declining through the almost 20 years the game has been online till now (2021), but a few hundreds of players still play and enjoy the game in many languages that all coexist together in the same world. The premise consists in a world composed by several semi-continents with dozens of interconnected locations on each of them, with different resources and biomes, at which you can spawn a character (from 1 to 15) and roleplay it, interacting with other unique player-controlled characters. The game game has several unique features built around the natural resources. The gathering, crafting, and transformation of some resources into refined derivatives is part of that. It also has several kinds of vehicles; water vessels of different sizes, steeds, and land vehicles. There's also a strong culture built around one of its key features: the composition of notes. This has led to people composing books, registering history and events, writing letters, producing poems and songs, and even drawings that can be found all around the game. --- The game itself is a kind of slow paced multilingual and strongly text based sandbox. Since it has been running on voluntary work and contributions, its development has been slow, but lately it has been taking a new dynamic, with several updates being pumped out and being on the work.

I've had this mug for over a year now and every single day it watches while I shower. It makes me safe sometimes protects me from the voices. Other times I'm lying on the couch watching judge Judy and eating my hot pickles and the mug becomes angry I feel it approaching me with menacing aura. Next thing I know I'm pooing out pieces of ceramic. Overall, its a great mug but only if you can afford multiple colonoscopy's and extremely invasive anal procedures a year. If you have the money for that THIS IS THE MUG FOR YOU.
