(derogatory, primarily West Sound/Navy slang) A woman (almost always a dependent spouse or girlfriend) from or deeply tied to Bremerton, Washington, who embodies the worst stereotypes of a “dependapotamus.” Usually spotted in a lifted truck she didn’t pay for, a Tricare card, and bonus points if she has ship or military tattoos without being in the military. 2. Highly influenced by Japanese culture through fashion or style for no reason such as cool shades, boots, jackets or vehicle.
