A person whose appearance resembles that of a 16th century peasant. Often characterised by having eyes too far apart with wild, straw-like hair. Had they been born in the appropriate century they would have made a living stealing bread and committing other petty crimes of the day. The kind of person who would make a cracking extra in any Robin Hood film.
