Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell is a 17 year old American singer/songwriter/model (September 2019). Billie and her brother Finneas O’Connell make all her music in finneas’ bedroom. She’s known mostly for her hits “Bad guy”, “When the party’s over”, and “bury a friend”. She first rose to fame from her song “ocean eyes” which was originally made for her dance studio but she later posted it on SoundCloud where it took off. She later went on to make her first EP “don’t smile at me” which featured songs like “idontwanabeyouanymore”, “COPYCAT”, and “bellyache”. After the EP she released some fan favorites like “bitches broken hearts”, and “lovely featuring Khalid”. Then in March 2019 she released her first album “WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?”. This album was a huge success, it got over 1 billion streams. Her song “bad guy” ended up reaching number one on the billboard hot 100, dethroning lil nas x who had previously kept the spot for 19 weeks straight with his single “old town road”. She has never stopped impressing the public with her exotic and different music. Other artists such as Tyler, the creator have previously expressed interest in working with her but for now we have only seen works with Khalid and Vince Staples. Billie is very active on social media and has previously revealed some unreleased songs such as “sex”, “so n so”, and “another stupid song”. We all hope to see more from her soon.
