Typified by liberals who are completely out of touch with reality, "townies" who hate the liberals and are equally clueless, spoiled children all around, and a general sense of the bizzare. Noted for its public school system, which is one of the worst in the state, and for the Belmont Hill School, a private all-boys school which is one of the best in the state. A Japanese princess lived near the town center for a couple of years, bringing the town a small tourist industry.
