With the public recognition of Anonymous back in 2008 came the inevitable public recognition of /b/, with thousands looking up 4Chan to see where these new "heroes" had come from and what they saw did not please them. Almost all of these newcomers were disgusted by what they saw. However instead of staying away from 4Chan like you'd expect these people to many of them stayed, flooding the board with tame and uninteresting posts that demoted this unique den of hatred and immorality as they tried their hardest to mold the board until it took the shape of any other regular internet message board and after 5 years they have succeeded.
