The word Aster derives from the ancient Greek, the name is common in bedtime stories. In the stories they speak of a man by the name of Terdorius Assus which was famous in the eastern kingdom for his height as well as his awfully smelly breath. Terdorius Assus CDXX was also a Roman emperor which was known for destroying the previously very advanced sewer system in Rome after making a giant terd, it is said that this was the beginning of the end for the Roman Empire. These days the word is used on the street by less intelligent beings and youngsters for ejecting terd from your ass. Therefore the famous phrase "Yo BigDawg Imma bout to go take an As(S)ter(d). The pronunciation difference itself from different dialects but is generally pronounced "AssTerd" with weight on the A , s , s , t , e , r , d.
