anime
noun: a japanese cartooning system that is characterized by very little curviture, exotic colors, oddly shaped eyes that are usually large and disporportional to the shape of the body. Also, many mangas deal with subject matter that aren't found in most other Western-world cartoons. Many people who do not fully understand or grasp the full concept of anime will oftentimes confuse it with manga. Mangas are the books that eventually turn into anime, and anime are the TV shows that result from a popular manga. Also, many may stereotype all anime serials as large quantities of porn, although an overwhelming amount of anime have nothing perverted about them. Perverted animes with large amounts of sexual content are called Hentai.
