1. Greek river-God Alpheus, also known as Alpheios (Ancient Greek: Ἀλφειός, meaning "whitish"), was in Greek mythology a river (the modern Alfeios River) and river-god. 2. River Alpheus was also the river which Hercules, in the fifth of his labours, re-routed in order to clean the filth from the Augean Stables in a single day, a task which had been presumed to be impossible. 3. Species of shrimp Alpheus is a genus of snapping shrimp of the family Alpheidae. This genus contains in excess of 250 species, making this the most species-rich genus of shrimp. Like other snapping shrimp, the claws of Alpheus are asymmetrical, with one of the claws enlarged for making a popping noise. 4. A learned chief/A capable person

Cup came in one piece and looks as nice as it does in the picture! Only note is just be mindful of any typos in the description of the definition, they will show up on the cup too! Other than that, no complaints!

Well madder nice print. 8 0z cup. I'd prefer a mug but will be ordering 3 more. Just my cuppa tea (or coffee). Americans always make fun of some of the things I say. Recently my brother and I were talking about the Trawna Maple Leafs. I decided to look it up and sure enough there is was Trawna the city I grew up in. Now who has the last laugh.
I ordered pink but got purple, and the text wasn't very clean, but overall, it is a mug.
It was a gift for my sister, who wrote it. She loved it and so did I!
