prep

Preps are a group of people (including me) who usually shop at Abercrombie && Fitch, Hollister, American Eagle, Express && other stores. We're the people whoe everybody tends to hate. People tend to assume that we are stuck-up and know absolutely nothing about music;; let alone we only listen to that techno, right? Wrong. I'm a prep. Sure; I'll give myself a label; whatever. But different people have different meanings for that label. I'm a prep. I listen to Taking Back Sunday; The Starting Line; Panic! At The Disco, The All-American Rejects. I've listened to The Used. Sure, I may wear Abercombie clothes; but I wear them because I like them. I'm willing to pay $40 for a polo shirt; if I like that. Just because I wear the clothes doesn't mean I'm a bitch or I talk behind my friends backs. I may be a prep; but I talk to the emo; the skaters; the goth; the jocks; the cheerleaders; the 'nerds or geeks or whatever'; I'm not above anybody. Some of my best friends are actually skaters. Prep's get a bad name; one person does one wrong thing and we all are now bitches or stuck-up or snobby. I may have the money to shop at Abercrombie; but that doesn't mean I think of myself as better than anyone else. Everybody thinks us(the preps) are soo bad; but we're really not.
